Diagnosed with ovarian cAnswer, I became still and asked, 'What do I do with this?' I heard 'Do it differently. Have fun with it. Change the way it looks and feels.' Among other things, I used music. I found songs that made me let go and let God, songs that helped me release old toxic emotions, songs that gave me peace. I organized them and listened to them in my chemotherapy (chemo/dreamo) treatments. Instead of fighting a disease, I was able to bless my body. I thanked my cells for sacrificing themselves for my Divine health and allowed the medicine to act for the highest good of all. I had very few side-effects and maintained impenetrable immunity!

Book Reviews
This story gives readers a formula for living, a formula that has wide application to life in general, even if it does not involve illness. It is a formula that takes the ordinary and through the power of love, faith, and community makes it extraordinary. It is an account that will invite you to reframe the challenges you may be facing, no matter what they may be.
-- Frances Key, Author of The Team Books: A Mother’s Wisdom from the Other Side
We met on www.blogtalkradio.com/ggmradio, on my show Namaste Nutrition. Lauren, you are such a wonderful inspiration, and to this day remain one of my favorite radio guests. Your magic, ethereal beauty, and journey was such an inspiration to me and to my audience.

Laurens, funny, brave and awe inspiring journey through the cancer dance and Chemo dreamo is so inspiring. She reminds us to keep laughing and have faith all will be well. A guide book on how to do the cancer dance with grace and ease. Bravo!

What a Beautiful Book with an incredible story of Hope, Inspiration and Holy Shifting! "Canswer" can be done with a conscious choice to heal, have some fun and do it in your own way. As a cancer survivor, I love being able to feel and see the power of doing cancer differently - going about living a full life, while dealing with treatment. Lauren has written a guide for the weary. Her heart is so evident and she shares so deeply.

This book is AMAZING!!!! I had the fortune to do a forgiveness workshop Lauren did and my husband and myself were moved to tears by her incredibly enlightened views and that was a year prior to her first bout with Stage 3C ovarian cancer, which for those not familiar with the disease, is essentially Stage 4. I'm a "recovering Catholic" and too much religiosity I find offensive to my own very thought through spirituality, but Lauren's essence is so honest yet so forgiving and accepting, and it comes through in her writing. I cried, and then I howled with laughter, and then I cried...The book is a true journey for the reader as you follow Lauren through a series of challenges that she continuously overcomes by not continuously being overwhelmed into fear- induced paralysis. As a two-time cancer survivor myself, and diagnosed with six autoimmune diseases, two of them "orphan" I read and try to implement as many regimens and interventions as my prolific search illuminates and this is a MASTERPIECE!

Rarely has a book followed so many experiences on the journey to wellness from multiple challenges, trials, failures and successes during life's journey. True healing is biological, as well as, spiritual. This book details both. It includes the miracle and magic of approaching and healing while on a quest that is amazing, soothing, and centered in the power of song, humor, blessings, friendship, community and pain. It is intensely moving and a lesson for everyone who finds their own selves in the most challenging and life altering journey towards healing. This story is a must for those that seek answers and comfort during their journey 'down the yellow brick Canswer road." It truly provides us with an alternate path to tangible steps to assist healing.

This is a rare book. Lauren shares her journey with healing and cancer with unusual openness, honesty, courage and humor while having the ability to step back and observe in the midst of great personal challenges. She is able to see the gift and blessing in events that would would take the wind out of the sails of the average person. It is easy to share positive views when life is placid and calm, but a quite different thing when faced with life threatening illness and all that such a journey contains. Lauren "walks her talk." The book is full of spirit and is loaded with gems, from the lively cover to her personal thoughts to the musical cd enclosed. ( I have listened to it three times in 24 hours.) For those who have faced cancer or similar physical challenges personally or with a loved one, this book is a beacon of hope and direction. I pray and hope that it reaches the wide audience that it deserves.
